Leadership Development for NCMA Volunteers


Formerly known as the Summer Chapter Leader Summit, this one-day event provides leadership development for members in their roles as contracts managers and volunteer leaders.

The event includes:

  • Quality content to expand the leadership capacity of NCMA's chapter leaders;
  • A "Leadership in Action" component to connect and create community among NCMA national leaders and chapter leaders;
  • Content aligned with the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK); and
  • A program that promotes volunteerism and fosters deeper engagement

Groups will receive real-world situations and develop recommended solutions using components of emotional intelligence leadership.

2:00PM–2:50PM Case Study Presentations

Groups will present their proposed solutions which will be distributed to all chapter members after the event.

2:50PM–3:00PM Closing Remarks

Carly Cox, Chapter Development Committee chair, will share her vision for the 2018 program year.
