CPCM Online Preparatory Course

This comprehensive, 10-week, online, instructor-led course provides a rigorous learning experience for those who desire structured exam preparation. Course participants will learn through weekly readings, assignments, discussion forums, videos, recorded lessons, and practice exams. All Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) competencies will be tested on during the examination, and all competencies will be presented during the prep course.

  • NCMA's Contract Management Body of Knowledge, 5th Edition
  • Practice examinations covering each of the major competencies in the CMBOK

Robert E JonesAs a consultant, Robert Jones offers expert input into FAR and regulatory compliance primarily in the areas of accounting, cost and pricing, purchasing, and cybersecurity. He previously taught the CFCM Online Prep Course and often assists NCMA chapters with their CFCM and CPCM prep courses. He previously presented at World Congress, SubCon, GCMS, APTAC, SAME JETC, and many other conferences.

Course Schedule:




Registered participants who request to withdraw from the course up until midnight the day before the official course start date will receive a refund minus a $90 cancellation fee. Participants who wish to withdraw from the class up until 14 days after the official start date will receive a 50% refund. Withdrawals requested 15 or more days after the official start date will not receive any refund of the course cost. All withdrawal requests must be made in writing and submitted to learningcenter@ncmahq.org.

Due to the nature of the course structure, registrations are nontransferable and cannot be deferred.

While the course may be taken prior to application submission, students do so at their own risk. CPCM candidates must have an approved application on file prior to scheduling an examination. Individuals who do not meet the education, experience, and CPE requirements will not be allowed to test. It is the individual’s responsibility to confirm that he or she is eligible for the CPCM program prior to enrolling in the CPCM Online Preparatory Course.
