Leadership Master Class: Winter Session

Defense Forum

Special 3-Hour Event During GCMS


Monday, December 4
1:30pm–4:30pm

This new event during GCMS covers defense-specific acquisition changes and challenges. Runs concurrently with Monday afternoon breakout sessions, which are not defense-related in context. Visit the Defense Forum page to learn more.

After GCMS concludes, stay another day and attend a National Education Seminar (NES) to earn an additional 7 CPE/CLP credits. The NES is a specialized one-day training seminar led by expert presenters and covers topics suitable for professionals of all levels. Attend the below seminar as part of your GCMS experience or as a standalone event.

WC17_TermsCoverKey Contract Terms and Conditions is a one-day National Education Seminar (NES) that reviews the most important terms and conditions that must be negotiated—presented from three practical, day-to-day contract management perspectives: U.S. federal government buying, industry selling, and industry buying.

Certification Exams

Stand Out with an NCMA Certification!

NCMA Member: $50 examination fee*
Nonmember: $90 examination fee*

NCMA will be offering the Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), and Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification exams on Wednesday, December 6 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. All fees must be paid in advance. No walk-ins will be accepted. You do not have to be a GCMS registrant to take the exam.

*Please note, the examination fee is a separate charge from the application fee. All candidates must first formally apply and receive approval to test before they can register for their exam. To apply, e-mail bboynton@ncmahq.org and specify which certification you'd like to achieve. You will receive a follow-up e-mail with the correct form to fill out. Applications must then be submitted by Friday, November 3, 2017.

Approved applicants must register for the exam by completing and submitting this form by Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
