What is the Government Contract Management Symposium?

The Government Contract Management Symposium (GCMS) is held annually by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) in the Washington, DC metro area. Formerly intended for those in federal sector, it has grown to provide training for professionals in both government and industry contracting.

This year's symposium consists of keynote addresses from defense, cybersecurity, and technology leaders; nontraditional panel discussions; 30 breakout sessions; and many networking opportunities with 1,000+ contract management professionals.

New this year, we're introducing the Defense Forum (see below), a special Monday afternoon event for the defense acquisition community.

Attendees will earn up to 14.5 CPE/CLP credits for their attendance. Explore the site to learn more about this year's event. Check back as more details are added.

What is the Defense Forum?

This 3-hour event during GCMS covers defense-specific acquisition changes and challenges, featuring senior defense leaders from government and industry. The forum can be added to your GCMS registration for $50 or as a standalone event for $250. Runs concurrently with Monday afternoon breakout sessions, which are not defense-related in context.

Visit the Defense Forum page for more information.
