NCMA is led by elected officers, all of whom are volunteer members. NCMA leadership directs the activities of the association at both the National and Chapter levels to guide contract management toward its biggest possible future.
Each year, NCMA provides members with a variety of exciting volunteer opportunities to expand their leadership experience. The value our volunteers provide is one of NCMA’s greatest assets.
Board of Directors
As the chief governing body, NCMA’s Board directs and oversees association activities and makes plans for the future. The Board is made up of 14 directors, including 3 officers, the Chief Executive Officer, the General Counsel, and 11 directors.
Board of Advisors
NCMA’s Board of Advisors is made up of approximately 80 individuals who represent a cross-section of the contract management profession, including the public sector (federal, state, and local governments), the private sector (industry and professional firms), accredited educational institutions and other recognized training establishments, and select individuals retired from such organizations. Advisors are appointed, and offer guidance on important issues facing the contract management profession. Learn more.
Council of Fellows
A prestigious group of NCMA members who have made significant contributions to the field of contracting/acquisition and to NCMA, the Council of Fellows’ main responsibility is to develop the future leaders of the organization. The Fellow designation is the third highest national award given by NCMA.
NCMA has over 80 chapters lead by volunteers. Each chapter has a president, treasurer, and secretary, and many have additional elected officers. Support the association at a local level by getting involved in your chapter.
