General

Q. Where is SubCon located?  
If you are attending in-person, it will be held at UVA Darden Sands Family Grounds, located at 1100 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA near the Rosslyn Metro Station.  Please visit the Location and Lodging page for more information on parking, hotels, and safety protocols.   

Q. How many CPE/CLP credits can I earn?
In-person attendees can earn up to 27 credits, and virtual attendees can earn up to 20 credits.

*Total credits earned is based on your actual session attendance. In-person only sessions are not available for replay.

Q. I have a disability and need special accommodations. How can I ensure accessibility?  
Please indicate your need for special accommodations when registering for SubCon and NCMA will contact you to ensure your reasonable requests are met. Every effort will be made to accommodate advanced requests and day-of requests may be delayed.  

Q. Is membership included in my registration?
Individual nonmember registrations include a one-year membership to NCMA. Your membership term will run from April 2023-March 2024.  Memberships will be activated after SubCon, no later than April 10, 2023.

Q: How long will OnDemand sessions be available on the virtual platform?

Sessions recorded for replay will be available in the virtual platform for 30 days after SubCon. Access will end on April 28, 2023.

Q: Will presentation slides be available?
A PDF version of all breakout session slides will be available for download. They can be accessed in the description of the session on the Agenda of the Virtual Platform.  

Technology Requirements

Q. Do I need to install or download anything to attend the event?
There is no need to download or install anything prior to the conference. The event will automatically open in a web browser. If windows do not open automatically, be sure to double-check that pop-ups are allowed in your browser.  

In-Person 

Q. What is NCMA doing to ensure a comfortable and safe event environment?
We are working extremely hard to create a comfortable and sanitary environment for all attendees. Working closely with the venue, we will be implementing health requirements for attendees, speakers, and staff if necessary.  While we can certainly take these steps, it is critically important that you, the attendee, also do your part. Therefore, every person attending this event is expected to diligently follow these policies: 

Masks Are Optional
Masks are optional at SubCon. However, participants should follow local guidelines and while traveling to include ground transportation, airports, and transportation. 

Wash Your Hands 
Wash and sanitize your hands. Please sanitize them every time you enter each session room and in the coffee break and lunch areas. 

Stay Home if You Feel Ill 
Please monitor your health. If you have any COVID-19 related symptoms, please stay home. We will switch your registration to virtual and refund you the difference between in-person and virtual registration with written notice at least 24 hours prior to March 28, 2023.
