WHAT IS CM WEEK?
Contract Management Week (CM Week) is a time dedicated to continued professional development, organizational focus, and personal recognition, for the practice and practitioners of contract management.

The NCMA Board of Directors has declared the week of July 21–27, 2013, as Contract Management Week 2013 in recognition and honor of the contracting and procurement professionals within government and industry.

Contract Management Week is held in conjunction with NCMA's World Congress 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee, as the conference is the ultimate way to recognize and honor those in the contract management profession.

HOW TO CELEBRATE CM WEEK
Are you wondering how to celebrate CM Week? We suggest you contact your local chapter to request that they hold a local event or educational program, present an recognition award, or host a reception during CM Week to show their recognition and appreciation for all in the profession.

PROCLAIM CM WEEK IN YOUR CITY, COUNTY, OR STATE
In the meanwhile, we would like for your chapter to start advocating for the profession by working with your local city, county, and/or state to request formal proclamations. Below are links to a proclamation template and a sample proclamation from last year.

Be sure to submit your proclamations by April 26!
