Via a recent survey, we learned that 83 percent of you ranked "career-related information" (progression, jobs, etc.) as the area that's most important to you. As each semester ends, you are edging closer to the beginning of your career. Check out Forbes’ recent list of the companies with the happiest new professionals so that you know where to start your search! Plus, if you are thinking about relocating for work post-graduation, the article also features the top 20 cities for new professionals.

The profession is ever-changing, so staying in-the-know is important for all acquisition professionals. During a recent interview, Nick Nayak, Chief Procurement Officer at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), confirms this by stating "Training is the number-one priority to make acquisitions successful." He also shared some interesting information regarding the department's acquisition area. 

Are you interested in working for the federal government? Then you'll be glad to know that the newly developed "Pathways Program" begins this summer! This program will help students and recent graduates by providing them with training, career development opportunities, and employment with the federal government.
