Government Contract Accounting Compliance: Current & Emerging Challenges
Topic: Ethics & Compliance
Original Air Date: Wednesday, April 11, 2012
Program Code: 170053
The federal marketplace is the largest, most dynamic, and most challenging market in the world. Unfortunately, many of the challenges in this market arise from manic policy shifts, ever-changing rules of the game, and wide-ranging interpretations of those rules. Accordingly, market participants must stay abreast of current developments to manage or mitigate risk.
This webinar presents a wide variety of timely topics that many in the contracting community either are facing or likely will face eventually. Topics include the recently-proposed DFARS proposal adequacy checklist, the new FAR 52.216-7 final indirect cost rate proposal adequacy requirements (and DCAA's new adequacy checklist), a recent ASBCA decision condemning DCAA's method of evaluating contractor compensation costs, the new broad-brush FY2012 NDAA contractor compensation limit regime, GAO's take on DCAA's access to contractor internal audits, and many more. The presenters will offer their perspectives on these matters as well as some practical thoughts, recommendations, or observations to help the contracting community address them effectively.
