Practical and Tactical Tips to Get You Through Source Selections
Program Code: 170102
Seminar Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Start Time: 12:00 PM EST
Registration fee: $150.00
Contracting officers are not often provided with “hands-on” training in how to execute the requirements of their job. What is missing is the specific, tactical, and practical application of best practices known by the best practitioners. Source selection is an art learned through intensive on-the-job training that provides invaluable insights into tricks of the trade for surviving the evaluation process. This webinar will provide tactical and practical advice for contracting officers to conduct source selections with teams of evaluators to:
- Craft better source selection criteria,
- Develop a solicitation that reflects a clear process, and
- Use proven techniques for conducting a successful source selection.
For optimum viewing please use IE10, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
Participants will learn about:
- Influencing the quality of source selections with more focused criteria that make the source selection process more manageable,
- Facilitating best-value decisions with criteria that are reflective of the critical aspects of the requirements and business and mission needs,
- Conducting improved source selections that provide the foundation to improved contract outcomes,
- Reducing risk of sustained protests by providing effective source selection road maps for the evaluators to follow, and
- Saving time and money as a result of doing it right the first time and eliminating rework.
This fast-paced webinar will address the above issues and more while giving you the opportunity to ask our experts for advice about your unique concerns.
