Abstract:

Understanding Government Contract Audits is geared to give participants a basic and a multi-dimensional insight into the DCAA audits process while also providing a perspective on preparing for audits. In addition, the participants will gain insight into issues related to allowability and allocability of costs and its relation to incurred cost audits. Lastly, we will discuss how to manage disagreements with DCAA regarding the adequacy of supporting information during audits and how to respond effectively to audit findings. After this session, participants will have a better perspective and a basic understanding of the complexities of the DCAA audit process. Level of Difficulty: Basic
