Welcome to NCMA's Professional Certification Program

The CPCM, CFCM, and CCCM are certifications awarded to candidates who meet rigorous standards, including experience, education, training, and knowledge. They are professional designations of distinction, and carry the respect of their peers in the profession. The NCMA professional certification program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and distinguish those who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of contract management. The CPCM exam is based on the competencies found in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK). The CFCM and CCCM exams are based on knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), respectively. All exams are designed to be legally defensible and psychometrically sound.

Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

A Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification demonstrates that you have met NCMA's highest standards for education, training, and experience, and have demonstrated your knowledge of the contract management competencies in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge.

Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)

A Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification validates your education, training, experience and your knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)

A Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification validates your education, training, experience and your knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code.

The ICCM–D and ICCM–F are certifications awarded by NCMA based on meeting the same prerequisites and completing all the same courses required for the DAWIA or FAC-C certifications in contracting. These two certifications afford industry contracting professionals the opportunity to be certified at levels I, II, and III in the same manner as their public sector counterparts.

Industry Certification in Contract Management–Defense (ICCM–D)

The ICCM–D is a certification awarded by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) which parallels the Defense Acquisition Workforce Act (DAWIA) certifications in contracting. The formal education, experience, and specialized training required are the same for the ICCM–D and for DAWIA.

Industry Certification in Contract Management–Federal (ICCM–F)

The ICCM–F is a certification awarded by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) which parallels the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC–C). The formal education, experience, and specialized training required are the same for the ICCM–F and for FAC–C.
