Preparation for the CFCM ExamNotice to CFCM Candidates:The CFCM Examination was updated on September 1, 2012 and covers FAR changes through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-57. We recommend that you purchase the new CFCM Study Guide, 2nd Edition. If using the 2010 version of the guide, you should familiarize yourself with the contents of FACs 05-46 through 05-57.
The amount of time candidates spend preparing for the CFCM exam really depends on their familiarity with the materials and experience in contract management. Some people are better test takers than others, so prep time varies!

Practice ExamThe exam costs $25 for 50 multiple choice questions. There is no time limit and you will see the results from your practice exam upon completion.
Online Preparatory CourseThis 10-week online, instructor-led program is the most convenient and affordable method to prepare for your exam. With just two hours of class time per week, this program fits well into your busy schedule to give you the comprehension you need to take the 150-question CFCM exam. This course includes weekly reading assignments, discussion board postings, class sessions, and end-of-week practice exams. NCMA offers this course quarterly, and usually sells out quickly since it is limited to 25 participants.
