GovEnergy, the nation’s premier energy training workshop and trade show for federal energy management professionals, will take place August 19–22, 2012 at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, Missouri. Supporting the theme The Gateway to Smart Energy Solutions, the event will feature over 150 training sessions.

Federal contracting management professionals will benefit from the nine session Contracting track, which examines contracting vehicles and processes associated with federal energy management programs. Now in its fifteenth year, GovEnergy expects to draw around 4,000 attendees, with an estimated 250 exhibitors participating in the event’s trade show.

GovEnergy is co-sponsored by the Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program (DOE-FEMP), the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DOD), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). By bringing together the nation's leading experts in policy, technology, and facility operations, GovEnergy provides federal employees with energy management training in compliance with legislative requirements described in the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act of 2010, EPACT1992, Executive Order 13514, and EISA 2007.
