GW's Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) program is among the oldest and most reputable specialized degree programs of its kind in the world. With over a decade of educating successful project managers, this unique program blends the study of project management with a grounding in general management principles, and guides students in mastering advanced project management techniques. The innovative curriculum balances practice and theory, developing the skills that professionals need to become effective project managers.
GW’s MSPM program is industry independent and can be applied to many different project management fields, including contract management. Courses offered in the MSPM program that are applicable to contract management include:

One Program, Two Flexible Modes
All GW MSPM students have the option of taking courses on campus in Washington, DC or virtual courses through our innovative distance learning mode. GW's distance mode allows students to receive an on-campus experience from all over the world. Students in distance courses and campus courses have the same professors, the same syllabi, the same lectures, the same assignments and exams, and ultimately the same degree from the GW School of Business!

The GW School of Business is partnered with ESI-International to deliver the Master’s Certificate in Project Management. Students who complete the Master’s Certificate in Project Management through ESI within 5 years of applying to GW’s MSPM program are eligible to waive up to 9 academic credits out of the 36 credit hour program.
