NCMA Announces Graduates of 2007-2008 Contract Management Leadership Development Program
ASHBURN, Va. – June 4, 2008 – The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) today announced the graduates of its 2007–2008 Contract Management Leadership Development Program (CMLDP). In all, 24 students participated in the graduation ceremony at NCMA’s World Congress in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 16, 2008. This was the second class to graduate from the year-long program.
“NCMA congratulates the CMLDP graduates for successfully completing this intensive year-long educational program,” said Neal Couture, NCMA Executive Director. “We wish them continued success throughout their professional careers.”
The CMLDP is designed to help develop the next generation of contract management leaders. Program participants received 180 hours of top quality training in fundamental leadership, soft skills, and contract management. The program is highly relevant to contract management professionals regardless of their employer, location, or industry.
Upon completion of the program, graduates are expected to honor and uphold the contract management code of ethics. In addition, they are required to serve two additional years with NCMA and actively participate in their local chapters. The 2007-2008 CMLDP graduates are listed below:

The CMLDP was created to quickly close the gap in leadership progression by accelerating the preparation of a select group of contract management professionals. Candidates will have demonstrated a level of commitment to their professional development unmatched in the field and, as a result, will carry with them a unique, meaningful credential that will open doors to new challenges and professional opportunities.
