ASHBURN, Virginia, November 4, 2011—In celebration of the 30th Annual Government Contract Management Conference (GCMC), NCMA is hosting a free Contract Management Career Fair. This year's career fair features over 20 highly sought-after organizations, such as the Army Contracting Command, CACI, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of Veteran Affairs, the General Services Administration, and Integrity Management Consulting, just to name a few.
For several years now, area recruiting and human resource managers have relied on this career fair to find the quality contracting talent they are seeking. Ann Caldwell, recruiting manager at Integrity Management Consulting, stated, "We attended our first GCMC Career Fair two years ago; a week later we hired a top-notch professional who is now a part of our core team." While the job market is sluggish at best within most industries, there is still an incredibly high demand for qualified contracting professionals. "This year we are looking for experienced, credentialed contract specialists and other acquisition professionals for immediate requirements on our nationwide programs at GSA and DHS," Caldwell stated. Like Caldwell, others exhibiting are looking to fill several positions through this year's event.
The career fair will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2:00–6:00pm, in Grand Salon E–F at the Bethesda North Marriott in Bethesda, Maryland. The career fair also features a live panel discussion and complimentary on-site career counseling. While the event is held in conjunction with GCMC, it is open to the public.
