DOD Raises Trade Agreements’ Thresholds

On December 31, 2013, the Department of Defense (DOD) issued a final rule amending the DFARS to raise applicability thresholds for the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and the Free Trade Agreements. The thresholds were raised pursuant to a predetermined formula included in the agreements. This rule became effective January 1, 2014. (78 Fed. Reg. 79620, 12/31/2013.)
