DOD, GSA, and NASA Revise Thresholds for the Application of Trade Agreements

On December 31, 2013, the Department of Defense (DOD), the General Services Administration (GSA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) issued a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to include revised thresholds for the applicability of the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and the Free Trade Agreements. The final rule revises the thresholds according to the predetermined formula included in the trade agreements. This rule became effective January 1, 2014. (78 Fed. Reg. 80379, 12/31/2013.)
