House Introduces Bill to Implement Information Security Requirements for Federal Procurements

On August 2, 2013, Rep. Jim Lengevin (D-RI), along with seven cosponsors, introduced the “Executive Cyberspace Coordination Act of 2013” (H.R. 3032). Included among the various cybersecurity policies, this bill would implement several provisions that would regulate federal procurement policy, including the following:
