House Introduces Bill That Would Debar Contractors With Delinquent Tax Liabilities and Contractors Convicted of Certain Crimes

On June 18, 2013, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) introduced a bill (H.R. 2411) prohibiting the federal government from contracting with an entity that has committed fraud or certain other crimes. If passed, the bill would prohibit the federal government from awarding contracts to offerors that certify that in the last three years:
