Obama Nominates Former SBA Official as Federal Procurement Chief
February 6, 2012
President Obama nominated a former Small Business Administration official to be the next administrator for federal procurement policy at the Office of Management and Budget.
If confirmed by the Senate, Joseph Jordan would replace Dan Gordon, who became associate dean for government contracts law at the George Washington University Law School last month.
Jordan was SBA's associate administrator of government contracting and business development from March 2009 until late last year, when he moved to OMB as a senior adviser to Deputy Director Jeff Zients.
