The 64th NASPO Annual Conference took place in Austin, Texas September 11-14, 2011. Chief Procurement Officers and staff from 43 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands attended the meeting.

NASPO's Annual Conference is a time for members to engage in in-depth, peer-to-peer information exchange focusing on procurement successes, issues, and initiatives from other states as well as other governmental jurisdictions. Sessions at this year's conference included:
Best Value Procurement (presentation by Dean Kashiwagi of Arizona State University and follow-up panel discussion with four states practicing Best Value Procurement concepts)Cloud Computing & Data Security (presentation by Janine Anthony Bowen, Paul Mayne, and Dugan Petty moderated by Richard Pennington)eProcurement Solutions (preview of the upcoming WSCA/NASPO Market Center e-Catalog System by SciQuest and follow-up session with two states currently implementing solutions in their states)
