COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM www.countrymusichalloffame.org This isn't just a museum; it's an experience with something for everyone. Rhinestone costumes, seasoned instruments, and tear-stained lyric sheets are only the beginning. Don't miss the Music City Walk of Fame across the street in Walk of Fame Park, where music celebrities who lived, worked, and played in Nashville are commemorated with sidewalk stars.
EXPERIENCE THE RYMAN AUDITORIUM www.ryman.org The Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark and a must-see for anyone visiting Nashville. Most famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943–1974, its history as Nashville's premiere theater and central gathering place started even before construction was complete in 1892. Take a tour of the property or purchase tickets to see a live performance in the historic auditorium.
SEE "THE SHOW THAT MADE COUNTRY MUSIC FAMOUS" www.opry.org The Grand Ole Opry is dedicated to honoring country music and its history. Every weekend, since its start in November 1925, "The Show That Made Country Music Famous"—The Grand Ole Opry— showcases a mix of legends and contemporary chart-toppers performing country, bluegrass, folk, gospel, and comedic performances and skits. Tour the Grand Ole Opry House as a part of NCMA's Annual World Congress Awards Gala. Learn more.
TOUR MUSIC ROW'S HISTORIC RCA STUDIO B www.countrymusichalloffame.org/studiob Visit historic RCA Studio B, one of the world's most important and successful recording studios. More than 35,000 songs were brought to life by the Studio B magic, including more than 1,000 American hits, 40 million-selling singles, and over 200 Elvis Presley recordings (by far more than any other studio). Step into the house of the hitmakers and discover the legend of this Music Row landmark.

CHECK OUT THE FAMOUS WILDHORSE SALOON www.wildhorsesaloon.com The Wildhorse Saloon serves up country that kicks! Daily line-dance lessons are free for those adventurous enough to scoot onto the dance floor. Take a break from dancing to enjoy the famous barbecue. Music's brightest stars often perform here, too.
TAKE IN THE BLUEBIRD CAFE www.bluebirdcafe.com The Bluebird Café is one of the world's preeminent listening rooms and the venue has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter's performance space where the "heroes behind the hits" perform their own songs; songs that have been recorded by chart-topping artists in all genres of music. Located in a small strip mall outside of downtown Nashville, the 100-seat venue is unassuming in appearance but some of the most significant songwriters and artists have performed on this stage.

GO HIKING AT OLD STONE FORT STATE PARK www.tn.gov/environment/parks/ OldStoneFort One of 26 state parks located in the middle Tennessee area, Old Stone Fort State Park is located about an hour south of downtown Nashville. The park is situated on a 2,000-year-old American Indian ceremonial site. It has been identified as perhaps the most spectacularly sited sacred area of its period in the United States and the largest and most complex hilltop enclosure in the south. The park is a local favorite due to its vast hiking trails and breathtaking waterfalls.

Connecting the Cumberland River to the city's downtown area, Riverfront Park Nashville also serves as home to the Historic Fort Nashborough. The park schedule is especially busy during the summer months, when amongst other activities the outdoor venue offers people the opportunity to enjoy the many various performances taking place upon a floating stage in the middle of the Cumberland River.
