Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center
Attendees can obtain the group rate of $209 single/double per night.
There are also a limited number of government rooms available at $167 single/double per night (or the prevailing government rate); to qualify you must present a current government ID at check-in.
Reservations are being accepted by the Gaylord based on availability. Please note that some nights have limited availability or are sold out. If you experience any issues with booking your room, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Looking for a room on July 25 or 26? NCMA has obtained a small group block at the Aloft Washington National Harbor. To book a room, please follow this link. Please note that rooms are limited and to hold a reservation, a 1st night deposit is required.
For attendees who are parking a vehicle at Gaylord National, NCMA has obtained a discounted self-parking rate of $15 per day. In order to obtain this rate, hotel guests must use their room key. Those without a room must obtain a daily voucher at NCMA's registration desk or info booth. Valet parking is also offered at a rate of $35 per day, which includes in and out privileges; please note valet price is subject to change.

Attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire for the duration of the event. All attendees are advised to bring a sweater or light jacket since temperatures in meeting rooms will vary. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes for walking the convention center and exhibit hall.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
NCMA recommends flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, located about 15 minutes (8 miles west) from the Gaylord National. There is a shuttle service offered to the Gaylord that is $18/one-way and requires a reservation fee. To make a reservation, please call 301-965-2081.
Driving Directions from DCA to the Gaylord National
Follow signs to George Washington Parkway South to Alexandria. Veer right at the sign to Slaters Lane, make a right at traffic light. Follow signs to U.S. Route 1 and merge onto US-1. Follow signs to I-95 North (Maryland). Veer right at signs toward I-95. Veer left toward I-95 and merge onto I-95 North/I-495 East (Capital Beltway). Cross Woodrow Wilson Bridge toward Maryland. Take exit 2A toward National Harbor. Turn right on Waterfront Street. The resort is on the right.
Attendees can also choose to fly into either Washington Dulles International Airport or Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Located 35 miles west from the hotel. Estimated taxi fare: $70/one way.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
Located 42 miles north from the hotel. Estimated taxi fare: $70/one way.
Discounted Air Transportation for World Congress Attendees
Discounted flights are available for World Congress attendees who book their flight through United Airlines or American Airlines. By booking, World Congress attendees will receive a 5% discount on their fare for travel July 23-August 3, 2014. The 5% discount is only valid on official United Airlines and American Airlines flights.
Super Shuttle Airport Transportation
Super Shuttle offers transportation from each of the area airports as well. Shuttle service from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is $19/one-way; service from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is $44/one-way; and service from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is $45/one-way. Super Shuttle Airport Transportation – GSA Discount

World Congress 2014 is within driving distance of more than a dozen major cities in the Eastern United States.
From the West
Start on I-66 East. Take exit 75 to merge onto VA-110 S toward I-395/US-1/Pentagon City/Crystal City/Reagan National Airport/Alexandria. Take the I-395 N ramp to US-1 N. Merge onto I-395. Keep left to continue on I-695. Keep left at fork and merge onto I-295. Take exit 1A-1B on the left for I-95/I-495 N/MD-210/National Harbor toward Baltimore. Take exit 1B to merge onto National Harbor Blvd. Slight right to stay on National Harbor Blvd. Take the 2nd right onto Fleet Street and the Gaylord will be on your right.
From the North
Follow signs for I-95 S/Washington and merge onto I-95 South. Take exit 22B for Balt/Wash Pkway toward Washington South. Merge onto MD-295. Continue onto District of Columbia Highway 295. Continue onto I-295. Take exit 1A-1B on the left for I-95/I-495 N/MD-210/National Harbor toward Baltimore. Take exit 1B to merge onto National Harbor Blvd. Slight right to stay on National Harbor Blvd. Take the second right on Fleet Street and the Gaylord will be on your right.

Gaylord National Shuttle Service to DC Attractions
It's easy to visit capital area attractions with daily shuttle services and tours from Gaylord National's front doors. Downtown DC Shuttle Services provide continuous service to:
Old Post Office (1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW)
Union Station (H Street and 2nd Street NE)

Taxi Cab Service
For trips into downtown DC, a cab service might be a preferred option. NCMA has partnered with Uber for discounted taxi service. Uber is a mobile application that connects riders to drivers with the push of a button. In minutes, a car will be curbside, ready to take you wherever you need to go.
