Contract Management Week
 NCMA Celebrates Contract Management Week! On July 28th, the NCMA Board of Directors declared “The week of April 13 to 19, 2008, as Contract Management Week in recognition and honor of the thousands of contracting and procurement professionals. Contract Management Week, held in conjunction with the National Contract Management Association’s World Congress 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be a time dedicated to continued professional development, organizational focus, and personal recognition for the practice and practitioners of contract management.” We know that unfortunately, not everyone can make it to Cincinnati. So, for us all to feel recognized and appreciated, we also encourage your chapter to hold a local event or educational program, give a local recognition award, or have a reception in the weeks leading up to Contract Management Week. State, County, and City Proclamations We are working with NCMA chapter leaders to gather state, county, and city proclamations from around the country to show support for our profession. Please contact your local chapter leaders and encourage them to participate, or let us know you are listening (WeAreListening@ncmahq.org) and we will forward your requests to them. Our goal is to exceed the number of proclamations issued in 2007. | |
