Make the Connection: Your Customers, Suppliers, and Partners

NCMA would like to thank all those who attended, spoke, and exhibited at the 5th Annual Commercial Contract Management Conference in Atlanta. This program brought together more than 120 participants gathered for the two-day conference to network, discuss the impact of contract management processes, and share best practices for increasing the efficiency of contract departments.

Gary Hoover and Anthony Miller delivered this year’s keynote address, which expanded on the conference theme, “Making the Connection: Your Customers, Suppliers, and Partners.”

Hoover, a best-selling author and the founder of Hoovers.com, the Internet’s leading source of business information and company profiles, shared tips on how entrepreneurs and leaders can efficiently grow their business.

He also described the eight keys underlying success in any enterprise, which include curiosity as a source of innovation, watching developing and long-term trends, and a clear focus on the customer, among others.

Miller, executive vice president of LRN Inc., a company that specializes in business ethics and compliance, discussed ways to drive an organization’s ethical culture throughout the broader ecosphere of the company, by reaching out to joint venture partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

No conference would be complete without a packed exhibit hall. Representatives from event sponsors I-Many, Selectica, and Upside Software and a handful of exhibitors were on hand to share products, tips, tricks, and solutions for buyers, sellers, and education providers alike.
