Board of Advisors
The Board of Advisors (BOA) provides executive-level counsel to the national officers of NCMA on issues of importance to the contract management profession. The Board consists of senior executives who represent a cross section of the profession, including the public sector (federal, state, and local government), the private sector (industry and professional firms), accredited educational institutions and/or other recognized training establishments, and select individuals retired from such organizations.
The BOA has no fiduciary or legal responsibilities; it is solely a volunteer-based advisory body. The Board generally meets three times this year, in conjunction with major NCMA educational conferences. The incoming president has appointed approximately 80 individuals to the Board.
